Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul in Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She was raised in Northern Virginia and is the middle child of twin sisters. She is the middle sister of two sisters, and was brought up within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air career began by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. The Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character of Chiara a performance for which she won an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. The roles she played on television are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, Ghanizada played in a variety of independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 and the science-fiction action film Blood Shot. In 2008, Ghanizada became part of the cast for The General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada portray Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medicine. In 2009 Ghanizada appeared as Kelly as a Prada sales girl in HBO's Entourage as well as joining in the cast of the tv pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
